You’ll get bar stickers, royal stickers, virgin stickers, fun stickers, stickers galore… Read on…
Stickers became a part of TBOX in 2002. Wanting to add a new twist to the proceedings, Mr. Festa came up with the idea to make up a few stickers on his home printer and hand them out to people at the crawl. Some of the original, 1″ x 2 5/8″ Avery Adress Label Stickers said things like “Wire to Wire or Bust”, “Freak”, “Virgin”, and a couple of other short, snappy expressions. And people went nuts for these little things! So as the years went on, we made more and more stickers, and at TBOX11, we started making personal stickers for the Royal Court to hand out, and ,we’d bought some fun Warehouse Stickers like the infamous “Do Not Lay Flat”. The big turning point came in 2007, when we started CUSTOM PRINTING our own special TBOX Labels, and by 2010, we produced over 96,000 labels for the 15th Annual 12 Bars of Xmas. What are these and how do you get them? Read on….
The first thing you should be warned of, is that you may be walking down Clark Street in Wrigleyville in say, April, May, or even July, and perhaps on a light post, a fire hydrant, in a window, or in a bathroom stall… you will find TBOX Stickers! And most certainly, you’re likely to find them in your bed the next morning after TBOX… but there could be worse things, right? Herein are the different types of stickers you can collect at TBOX…
Fun Stickers
The “Just for Fun” stickers at TBOX include the ones you pick up when you get your materials, and that you can get throughout the day… and each year, we add new ones. Perennials include, “will blank for cereal”, “wire to wire baby”, “LIKE”, “I am not in a committed monogamous relationship”, “why don’t we make out right now and get it over with?”, “help, i’ve TBOX’d and I can’t get up!” — and more! And there will be new ones every year.
The Virgin Sticker
This is a critically important sticker and is discussed in detail on the Being a TBOX Virgin Page.
Team Stickers
Since 2009, we have split the TBOX Route into Themed Teams. So of course, we make fun stickers for you to identify the team you’ve been assigned to. Past team stickers have included the High Schools of TBOX2009 (Bayside Tigers, Ridgemont High, Rydell High, and Save Ferris) – and the Amusement Park Lands of TBOX2010 (TrixTown, Lucky Charmland, Crunchberry Kingdom, and FrootLoopTopia.)
Bar Stickers
We started a pilot program in 2009 to have 1000+ stickers AT EVERY BAR OF TBOX, distributed by the TBOX Bar Hosts. So now, whenever you visit a bar at TBOX, you can collect a sticker showing that you visited that bar! Technically, it still is the “TWELVE” Bars of Xmas, but there are now 36-39 bars on the event, and you are welcome to visit them all if you can, and collect every sticker!
Royal Court Stickers
The TBOX Royal Court Members, among their many lavish perks, are provided with 500 to 1000 of THEIR OWN PERSONAL STICKERS with their Badge Number on them. If you can collect all 50+ of these, that is an accomplishment! Collecting these stickers shows that you’ve met the VIP’s, the most experienced and most important people at TBOX, and we put a lot of funny sayings on these that are “fun for the whole family!”

Mr. Festa Sticker
You may also be aware of the elusive, apocryphal, much-sought-after, “is this guy for real?” I Met Mr. Festa Sticker. Started in 2009, this immediately became a hot item, and it lets everyone know you’ve met the host of the big party! Will he “live up to the hype?” That’s for you to decide!
