Festa’s Baseball-Themed, Sticker-Collecting Pub Crawl

If you like Baseball and Stickers, then Cover Your Bases is the Festa Crawl for YOU! Our most recent, 4th Edition of Cover Your Bases took place on Saturday, April 28, 2012, with over 1000 participants in Wrigleyville, Chicago. And here’s what it’s all about…

We give you a t-shirt with the 9 baseball positions, plus slots for the “National Anthem” and “First Pitch”. At each of the 11 stops, our fabulous Festa team of StickerB**tcheZZZ and StickerB**stardZzz provide you with the sticker to cover that slot on your shirt! Cover all 11, and YOU SCORE!  In 2012, we started out at Deuce’s & The Diamond Club, where we gathered up and then shortly after 2PM, Mr. Festa led the crowd in a rousing rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. At Bar #2, inside Moe’s Cantina, we threw out the ceremonial First Pitch… then proceeded through 18 more bars and 8 more stops, ending at O’Malley’s Liquor Kitchen, where crawlers had to walk up a Model Catwalk Runway and touch home plate to officially “SCORE” and complete their CYB Experience! In true Festa Parties fashion, Chicago’s premier party producers have given the Windy City another “holiday” to celebrate. CYB truly is a celebration of All-things Baseball! *IMPORTANT NOTE: CYB NEVER FALLS ON A HOME CUBS GAME.  This event is great because it gives Chicagoans another reason to head on over to Wrigleyville. So if you love baseball, Chicago, and (most importantly) PUB CRAWLING, then you’ll have a ball at CYB!
