Kicking off BeadQuest 2013 at Murphy's Bleachers
Thanks to the over 10,000 partiers who have attended our BeadQuest Mardi Gras event since its beginning in 2009! BeadQuest is a celebration of all things Mardi Gras, bringing a little bit of New Orleans to the North Side of Chicago. Festa Parties seeks to brighten the cold, dark winter days of weary Chicagoans by distributing tens of thousands of beads, including the coveted 9 numbered beads, in a frenzied trek through Wrigleyville. The event originated in collaboration with Murphy’s Bleachers in February of 2009, and each year, we begin and end at this iconic Wrigley establishment, while doing a circuit which grew to over 30 bars in 2013. The event features a competition for special numbered disc beads 1 thru 9, distributed each hour, and concludes with a Karaoke party at Murphy’s, and a contest drawing for those collecting all 9 beads.
