At a solemn ceremony held this evening at O’Malley’s Liquor Kitchen in Wrigleyville, Chicago, Festa Parties unveiled the Theme for their 17th Annual Edition of the World’s Most Spectacular Pub Crawl, TBOX2012… TBOXOPOLY!  As TBOX has grown throughout the years to an estimated attendance of over 16,000 in 2011, Founder Christopher Festa has striven for continuous improvement and making everything about TBOX be Bigger, Better, and More, More, More FUN!  The first theme was High School Yearbook in 2009; then Amusement Park in 2010; and Summer Camp in 2011… this year, the theme is TBOXOPOLY, which will be the world’s wildest, craziest, cereal-i-est, wire-to-wire real-life board game.

TBOX2012, Festa's 17th Annual Twelve Bars of Xmas Pub Crawl: TBOXOPOLY!!!

Festa Parties, Producers of TBOX(SM), Festa’s Twelve Bars of Xmas, The World’s Most Spectacular Pub Crawl, will announce the theme for TBOX2012, the 17th edition of this spectacular event, at a party on Wednesday, April 4th, at O’Malley’s Liquor Kitchen in Wrigleyville, on the eve of the Chicago Cubs’ Home Opener. The event is open to the public, but for those who pre-register for free, special limited edition tees will be given out to the first 75 attendees.

TBOX, Founded in 1996 by Christopher Festa, has grown from a handful of friends to an estimated 16,000+ people over the past 16 years. Beginning in 2009, the producers began to add a Yearly “Sub-Theme” to the eternal holiday theme of Twelve Bars of Christmas.  In 2009, the theme was “High School Yearbook”, with attendees dressing as their favorite fictional high-school movie characters and the type of people you’d find at High School, USA.  In 2010, the theme was “Amusement Park” – “It’s A Crawl World After All” – with participants dressing as their favorite amusement park rides, themes, and attractions.  And this past year, TBOX2011 was known as “CAMP TBOX” – Summer Camp in Winter, with the tag line, “So this one time, at TBOX…”

“We love to keep it fresh and provide new bells and whistles and more EVERYTHING for our loyal participants,” said TBOX Founder Christopher Festa, “The Twelve Bars of Xmas is enough for most people, but we love to provide people the option of dressing and celebrating either to the holiday theme, OR, for the veteran crawlers, to the annual one-time theme. It provides the best of both worlds!”

The TBOX2012 Theme...... To Be Announced 4/4/2012

On Saturday, March 3 2012, from 8:00AM to 9:06PM, the 7 members of the Festa Parties Team completed the 2012 Chicago Dance Marathon Charity Event benefiting Childrens’ Memorial Hospital. We would like to thank EVERYONE who generously pledged to our team of participants, and of course, thank the 7 members of our team, including Former #1 Tracey Kiefer, Kelli Murphy, Christina Miller, Jessica Harrison, Mark Riemann, and Samantha Elliott. As of the completion of the event, the combined teams raised $312,847.00 and counting!

The event was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Chicago, and featured lots of great music (LMFAO, anyone?? Like 100 times!!!), fun entertainment, trips to Starbucks, Sugar-Free Red Bull, and thanks to Tracey, our hourly progress photo as we finally made it to the end!  Though many of the young ladies on our team are fabulous dancers, Mr. Festa, not wanting to scare the children, eschewed the dance floor but instead contributed 200 pushups throughout the course of the day and is just now regaining use of his arms!  Thanks also to Tracey and Christina who also participated on our team in 2011, and thanks as well to Royal Court Member Katie Kormann, who participated on her team with Citizen Bar, and to Morgan Rohrbach, who has been our tireless and super-energetic liaison with the event, and helped us round up so many of the volunteers who Bar Hosted for TBOX 2010 and TBOX 2011, and will be on board for TBOX2012!  Festa Parties was proud to participate and also to serve as a Silver Sponsor of this year’s event.
