Festa Parties, a Chicago-based event planning company known for its festive pub crawl events including TBOX, their popular Twelve Bars of Xmas Pub Crawl in Wrigleyville, has held its 5th consecutive “BYOC” - Bring Your Own Cereal – party this past Thursday, June 13th at DS Tequila in the Boystown neighborhood of Chicago.  They were excited to bring the event to DS Tequila and Christopher Festa, the owner and founder of Festa Parties, and the attendees tallied a total of 150 boxes of cereal at the party, which brings them to their 1000th box of cereal donated to the Lakeview Food Pantry since January of 2013.

The BYOC party participants were able to enjoy some laughter and great food among other pub crawl enthusiasts, and as a thank you for donating, were given free tickets to Festa’s next pub crawl, their 2nd Annual Everyone Gets Lei’s Hawaiian Themed Pub-Crawl taking place on Saturday, August 24th in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.

Christopher Festa and Festa Parties are excited to be able to donate over 1000 boxes of cereal to the Lakeview Food Pantry and are eager to donate through their BYOC Parties every month. Through BYOC they are able to continued the long loved tradition of cereal and all things cereal related, and Festa Parties’ devotion to community service.

The Festa Parties May 2013 “BYOC” Cereal Donation Party is taking place starting at 7pm at Roadhouse 66 in Wrigleyville, 3330 North Clark Street, on THURSDAY, 5/16.

Bring 5 or more boxes of Cereal to donate to Lakeview Pantry, and receive a Limited Edition TBOX2013 Preview Fashion T-Shirt you can wear all summer, as we unveil the Poster and Theme for TBOX 2013, Festa’s 18th Annual Twelve Bars of Xmas, The World’s Most Spectacular Pub Crawl, which will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Chicago.

We will also have our “Leaf Blower” Cereal Shot Contest, where you can win great prizes including valuable Gift Certificates from Wrigley Bars, and free tickets for our upcoming “Everyone Gets Lei’s” event on August 24. The Party at Roadhouse will also feature great drink specials from Miller Lite and Pinnacle Vodka!

We also want you to note, that unfortunately, Fatpour, though open, will not be able to serve drinks, as they just finished their construction yesterday… we’re sorry for the inconvenience, but fear not, Stop #1 will be Paradise Cantina, 2 doors down at 2015 West Division Street.  The rest of the schedule will follow the same order, but at the end, we will go back to the 5AM Bar SHAMBLES, at 2050 West Division, where they will have a DJ Dance Party for us till closing time!
