Gang, we hope you are all having a Happy Summer!!  This past Friday, June 11, it was exactly SIX MONTHS until TBOX2010 on December 11, 2010, but we decided to hold off on our big announcement because, well, we got upstaged a bit by some big shindig going on downtown!!! We will be having our Formal TBOX2010 Theme Announcement Shortly - Read Below for More Info! And, we want to congratulate the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, and thank everyone who bought our IN DUSTIN WE TRUSTIN and CHICAGO HAS A HOCKEY TEAM Tees!  Now, in honor of our great goalie Antti Niemi, we present our newest item… ANTTI PANTIES!  Click the picture for more info!!

TBOX2010 is less than 6 Months Away!

Hard to believe, but it’s true - watch out SOON for our major announcement, AND, we will be looking for some NEW MEMBERS for the TBOX 2010 Royal Court… the formal application process will begin soon, but if you want to “get on the radar” and “throw your hat in the ring” — now is the time you can start!  The general qualifications for being on the Royal Court???  At minimum, you’ve attended 2 previous TBOX’s… You know Mr. Festa… you have unbridled, unironic enthusiasm for TBOX and you help promote the event and spread the word all year… and you come to the other events like BeadQuest and Cover Your Bases!  And of course, you read these newsletters!!! As many, many of you know, I enjoy attending Street Fests in Chicago, and have already been to quite a few of the “majors” — coming up, here are a few recommendations of ones not to miss that are personal favorites…

• 6/18-19-20 (This Weekend) - Taste of Randolph Street
• 6/24-7/4 - Summerfest in Milwaukee - if you can possibly make it up there, it’s a great time!
• 7/9-10 - Old St. Patrick’s World Largest Block Party - I’ve attended every year I’ve been in Chicago
• 7/17-18 - Sheffield Garden Walk
• 7/24-25 - Taste of Lincoln Avenue (TOLA) - so intense that even FUJI will only go on SUNDAY!
• 8/7-8 - Retro on Roscoe - Once again, Festa Parties will have our HOSPITALITY BOOTH Set Up All Weekend!
