How and Why We Do What We Do |
Our goal at Festa Parties is to provide
our customers with unique and highly engaging entertainment services. Through joyful
and relentless creativity and industriousness, we seek to
produce great events like TBOX, BeadQuest, and Cover Your Bases and make
sure that the greatest amount of willing participants have the greatest
time they can for the day of the event, and tell the greatest amount of
people they can, so we can keep spreading the cheer! We also strive to
put a creative, quirky, dynamic, exciting, and interesting twist on
everything we do, by really putting passion into it. Let's face it...
how could you not have fun doing this, right? :)
Along the way,
we also
strive to provide our customers with the best, smartest, friendliest
customer service we can. We believe that pleasing the heck out of
customers and convincing them to voluntarily part with their hard-earned
cash to us is the surest road to health, wealth, and happiness!
The Owner, Christopher Festa, started TBOX as a
"civilian" just for fun back in 1996, and you can read more about the
early days of TBOX
here.

Don't you hate ABOUT US Pages that don't tell you ANYTHING "ABOUT THEM"?
What are THEY hiding??? :) Well, we are right out in the open at 4314 North
Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. You can walk right in 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. We
work here literally the entire day. |

Festa - CEO Chris started
TBOX in 1996 as a way to avoid having his friends trash his 1-bedroom
apartment in Lincoln Park after every "Festapalooza" party, and the rest
is history. Chris formerly worked for Accenture, aka Andersen
Consulting, in the area of Knowledge Management and IT Consulting in
Chicago and points across the US and Europe. Chris also spent time as an
executive for a Silicon Valley Dot-Com before founding Festa Stuff in
2003. Chris is an alum of Stanford University with a BA in Economics.
Though he is now a Chicagoan his hometown is Vero Beach, Florida. |
More About Us |
First and foremost, we humbly, gratefully,
and proudly appreciate the fact that we were born in and are able to have
the freedom to originate and operate our business in the United States
of America. We appreciate and will never take for granted the blessings,
safety, and prosperity we enjoy in the USA, and we'd in particular like
to thank and recognize the men and women of the United States Military,
without whose sacrifices and bravery since the mid-1770s, we would not
have the wonderful nation we have today. We'd also like to recognize
the great men and women of business and industry, the many inventors,
investors, and entrepreneurs who came before us, and the free enterprise
system itself, all without which there would be no Festa Parties -- we'd
all be living in caves or at best, working in the fields from dusk till dawn
threshing wheat. Don't take it for granted!
Additionally, we seek
to enhance and add value to our community by providing jobs, and providing
products and services that add value and happiness to peoples' lives and
raise their standard of living. Much like iPods are 47,000% times better
than 8-Track Players, we want to make the going-out experience much better
for people than the normal night at a bar.
We also over our years in business have contributed merchandise and cash
donations to a wide variety of local and national charitable causes. We
are happy to help out with a donation of merchandise or otherwise whenever
we are able. We just always like to remind people, charity is only possible
through prosperity; prosperity is only possible through profitability; and
profitablity is only possible through economic freedom and hard work.
We want people to feel equally warm and fuzzy about us successfully making a
living and employing people productively and paying vendors as they do about
us doing charitable giving.
